Day 3 - Sunday - Layabout - Eugene, OR

10:30 AM PT - CHURCH
Went to Grace Community Fellowship church with the parental units...  I had attended this church several different times in my exceedingly average-lengthed life and hugged and accepted condolences about Heather from about 10 people I knew and 10 others I didn't (mostly those who were part of the parents' small group).  Someone later asked if it was hard to go knowing there would be a lot of people giving condolences and saying, "Sorry for your loss."  Heather had said several times that she could feel the prayers over her, esp for peace in the circumstances because she was rarely worried about how it was all going.  I had appreciated all of the people at the church, known and unknown, and I needed them to know that their prayers were appreciated.  So, no, it was not hard.

So, after church (11:30 AM PT) we went to VRC - Valley River Center mall - and I ate Teriyaki Chicken/Shrimp Asian take out (tasty, and not sure if it was that, but apparently I won a lottery and the prize was a visit by some culture's Montezuma later that day!).

No, not that one.

Stopped by the Oregon Duck Store...  and Cinnabons!

Stopped by Game Stop...
(Missing pic)

Went home with parents and a box of Cinnabons…Found what the dog, Maggie did!!

Ate a Cinnabon...

Disc Golf with Dad.  Wore the same shirt!  No one wanted to change.  Beat him by one stroke.  Good Times; Good Times...

I MISS BLACKBERRIES!!!  There's not much I

Came home and showered, ready for a TV special mom had told me about, "Space Station M: Mission to Mars."  PSYCH!!! Instead I was surprised by Dolly Parton!  OK, actually a good friend named Wendy  from Eugene and my past. She and her hubby, Brian, had been scheming with my mother to come by tonight!  Pleasant enough surprise though!   Oh, the Cinnabon's were supposed to be when they came over…   Oops!  They tasted good both times :-)

While there, talking with the two of them, we noticed a Frenchman in the house... watching us...  staring... with that  grin!!

Sleep

Signing off for the night...
