Still trying to figure out how to add images and video while using my phone to blog… I do not want to have to upload images from my phone to the Google+ app. Maybe I'll get pictures added tomorrow… A travel blog isn't that much fun without pictures!
3:30 PM ET - AIRPORT SHENANIGANS
Well, unable to meet up with anybody in Atlanta :-( however I did have a Long Island tea at a place I didn't get the name of… No, Journey did not have a sip.
Long Island: $13.50 and was good (not as good as Patty O's, Sissuh, but close) with fresh squeezed lemons and simple syrup instead of a mix. Steak: flat iron, medium, 25 bucks! Very little extra food with it, some new potatoes and spinach I guess, homemade chips and Dijon mustard with giant mustard seeds. $25?!? Guess they gotta stay in business somehow...
BTW, Considered this...
I thought, "That should be tender! Would love to see a YouTube of these cows right after feeding time!!" Braised, at second look, when the reflection moved.
5:20-5:45 PM ET - BOARDING/BOARDED/TAKEOFF!!
No smoke... feel safe, I guess :-\
THE NEXT 4.5 HOURS - FLYING
Played backgammon with the lady across the aisle for about three hours of the trip. Taught her how to play because she did not know how. She and her kids are going to Washington State a for vacation with family who lives there... well, at least that is what she told them - they are moving there. Boy will they be surprised. :-O
Lady to my right going to east of Spokane, WA (said "Spoh-Can"). We played "what state is that?" on the screens on the back of the seats in front of our visual receptors.
The backgammon lady's son made sure I saw the mountains out his window, expecting me to tell him their names (because I am from Oregon)...
(Beautiful pics of mountain tops above the clouds placed here...)
8:04 PM PT - LANDED, AGAIN
8:49 PM PT - BOARDING/BOARDED
